Swimming Pool
Athlone Regional Sports Centre offers a Superb Twenty-Five meter, six lanes, heated Swimming Pool with a separate Toddlers Pool along with a poolside Jacuzzi, Sauna and Steam-Room.
Our swimming pool is open seven days a week. With early morning lane swimming to lunchtime and afternoon sessions, out current timetable has a lot to offer all busy schedules, including evening family swims and adult’s only sessions.
Please note the following rules:
- Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult in the pool area.
- There is a maximum of 2 children under 8 to each adult.
- Swimming hats must be worn in the swimming pool at all times.
- Cameras, camcorders and camera phones are not to be used in the centre without prior written approval from the management.
- If you have a medical condition such as epilepsy, asthma, diabetes or a heart condition please brings it to the attention of the staff.
- To keep pool water safe and balanced, members and customers must shower before using each wet side facility (sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi).
- Babies must have both sets of immunization injections before using the pool.
- No glass bottles are to be brought into the pool area or changing rooms.
